Calls & Errata:

Got it: means hit acknowledged

Healed: means healed by the attack

Reduced: Did damage, but not as much as normal or did damage instead of another effect.

Threshold: You need to do more damage to effect it fully.

No Effect: This form of attack didn't do anything at all.

Or: Cloak, Magic Armor, Spell Shield, Dodge, Phase, Resist- which mean that it hasn't damaged them, but it has expended a spell protective or ability.

Bane, Reflect Magic- Which means that the spell effect is now affecting you due to a protective or ability.

Return Magic: A creature with the ability to Return Magic will cause a spell directed at it to be returned to its point of origin. It functions like the Resist skill in that the creature can choose when to use Return Magic. Returned magic is instantly restored to the caster's memory, although they will not be able to cast the Returned spell for sixty (60) seconds. This ability will not return an effect generated by a scroll, potion, or magic item, although that effect will be expended. It will, however, return to memory a magic "ability" such as Arcane- and Magic- attacks.

Weapon Carriers: Normal, Silver, Magic are the typical carriers of weaponry. On some occasions other carriers that has the same name as a spell effect are used. They do that effect if it gets into body. Examples of these calls would be disease, taint, wither, death, pin, web, bind, sleep, weakness, confine, and curse. Any other carriers besides this are for flavor and special weaknesses only. The only exception to this is the carrier or 'body'. A hit with a 'body' carrier ignores physical and racial armor points as well as shield and greater shield points.

Eldritch (ex. 10 eldritch ice): An attack, generally packet based, that can't be blocked with a weapon or a shield. A spell shield, reflect, dodge, phase, or a resist/cloak/bane of the appropriate type can stop it.

Elemental (ex. 1 elemental fire): An attack, generally packet based, that can't be blocked with a weapon or a shield. An elemental shield, dodge, phase, or a resist/cloak/bane of the appropriate type can stop it.

Physical (ex. Physical Web): An attack, generally packet based, that can't be blocked with a weapon or a shield. A magic armor, parry, dodge, phase, or a resist/cloak/bane of the appropriate type can stop it.

Cloak- The same as a spell shield, only for a specific effect. (ex. Cloak Death)

Bane- The same as a reflect magic, only for a specific effect. (ex. Bane web)

Archery (ex. 5 archery): An attack, only packet based, that can't be blocked with a weapon or a shield. A magic armor, parry, dodge, phase, or a resist/cloak/bane of the appropriate type cam stop it. Normal Arrows are repped by a packet with string, and Arrows of Quality are tagged. Normal arrows are recoverable, and Arrows of Quality are not. For the purposes of magic, it is done to the bow, not the arrow to increase damage or give magic carrier.

Gaze Attack: A rare monster ability that works in the fashion of 7th/8th edition Vampire Charm. With eye contact, certain creatures can call Gaze Attack <effect> and that character in eye contact receives that certain effect. This is a very rare ability and only very dangerous creatures have it.

Mummy Curse: This ability can only be used on a body, which is already dead (e.g. Killing Blow, Death spell, or otherwise has begun its death count), but has not yet resurrected. It is delivered on a three count in a fashion identical to a Killing Blow, with the exception of the verbal, "Lesser/Greater Mummy Curse 1, Lesser/Greater Mummy Curse 2, Lesser/Greater Mummy Curse 3." The victim of a Lesser Mummy Curse immediately has their Life Count (the amount of time remaining in which a Life spell will still have an effect) reduced to one minute. If the victim only has one minute or less remaining, the Lesser Mummy Curse will have no effect. The victim of a Greater Mummy Curse is forced to immediately abandon their Life Count and resurrect. It has no effect on permanently dead bodies. If you must resurrect from a Mummy curse you must take a spirit death.

Undead Package Changes - Undead creatures are effected by the alchemical gasses Acid and Fire.
